Used drum set in very good condition; some marks on the shells but nothing too serious. All chrome is in excellent condition. Piano Black lacquered finish, sizes 22”x16”, 12”x10”, 13”x11”, 16”x16”.
A truly successful series, produced in the mid-80s in Japan; birch and mahogany plywood shells, triple flange hoops, single lugs. We can date this set back to 1989, according the serial number.
These drums have a dark, full-bodied, full, round tone with generous volume. The sound is more open and resonant than the 9000 Recording Custom series, somewhat softer.
