Very nice and rare drum kit, in excellent condition and completely original. 18"x12", 12"x8", 13"x9", 14"x14", 14"x4" snare drum model D471. Rosewood finish.
Rare set with 18" bass drum, difficult to find and almost never illustrated in Sonor catalogues of the time; the New York K-101 model with 20" bass drum was present, but generally the 18" was produced on request.
Beech shells with rounded bearing edges, hardware in excellent condition with no rust. The exterior finish was restored and polished by Roberto Villani (RV Drums), bringing it back to an excellent aesthetic level.
A drum kit with an extremely rare configuration and spectacular sound and construction. It currently features Remo Ambassador Coated heads with a typically jazzy high tuning, but with a possible change of heads and tensions, it can be used for a variety of musical genres.
