SONOR Sonorlite Birch, 1990's

Used drum kit in very good condition, some small scratches here and there, but no serious defects to report. 22”x17”, 12"x10" 13”x11”, 14”x12”, 15”x13”, Scandinavian birch shells, slightly “undersized”; toms are 9 ply 6 mm thick, the bass drum is 12 ply 9 mm thick. The edges have a 45° angle. The finish was called Graphite Lacquer, basically a Piano Black, very beautiful and elegant.

The Lite Birch series was produced from 1982 to 1994, it has a warm rich and modern tone even today. This set has large sizes, certainly ideal for Rock in general sense.

The four tom depths are not “square” as on the Signature series and some Phonic models, and can therefore be positioned in a less uncomfortable way. 

It is an excellent drum kit, of an absolutely professional level, and testifies to the very high manufacturing level of Sonor.
