SLINGERLAND Modern Jazz Outfit, Red Tiger Pearl. 1973.

Wonderful drum kit in excellent condition, comes from the (huge) personal collection of Roberto Gatto, drummer and musician we all know. 20”x14”, 12”x8”, 14”x14”, Red Tiger Pearl wrap covering.

Dating back to 1973, the only year this rare finish appeared; three-ply shells with maple edge reinforcement rings, internal mufflers on toms and floor tom, Stick Saver hoops, Set-o-matic single tom holder, Black Silver Niles badge.

As mentioned before, this set looks like it just came out of the factory, after all Roberto Gatto has an almost maniacal attention towards his instruments. The sound is full, warm, with excellent definition and a good timbre range. Really beautiful and its versatility makes it suitable for various musical genres.
