SLINGERLAND Gene Krupa Sound King, 14”x5”, 1967.

Used snare drum, in very good condition; dates back to around 1967. 14"x5"

The Gene Krupa Sound King model was produced from 1963 to 1977. Chrome over brass shell, there was the 8 or 10 lug version and with depths of 5” and 6.5”. Until 1965 the shell was smooth, later it has the three central lines engraved. Stick Saver triple flange hoops, Zoomatic snare wire, internal muffler and black/gold oval badge.

A classic snare drum, with a dry, defined and full-bodied tone, with excellent dynamics.
