PAISTE Formula 602 24" Ride, Pre Serial (1960s).

Beautiful and rare 24" from the Formula 602 series, dating back to roughly the second half of the 1960s. 3,330 grams. Apart from a small handle made to eliminate a crack, the cymbal is in very good condition and without any other defects. From the weight in relation to the diameter we can consider it a Medium Ride.

The first legendary cymbals produced in Switzerland from the B20 bronze alloy, the Formula 602 have always been highly sought after by enthusiasts; initially produced since the late 1950s, they remained in the catalog until around 1994 and were subsequently reintroduced in 2011.

This ride has a crystal clear, full and warm tone with a defined ping and a nice halo of harmonics. It is not overly difficult to handle, despite the large diameter.
