Used 20" ride, in very good condition, with no damage or cracks; just a small keyhole that doesn't affect the sound. 2,240 grams.
The serial number 223629 allows us to date it approximately around 1982. The 505 series was produced between 1974 and 1985; it was an intermediate line made with the same CuSn8 alloy used for the 2002s and was characterised by an excellent quality/price ratio.
This ride has a bright, full sound, with defined stickiness, fairly controlled harmonics, and a penetrating bell. Many Paiste lines from the '80s are becoming increasingly sought-after: in addition to the 505s, we also remember the excellent 2000 and 3000 series cymbals.
