The 505 series was introduced in 1974. These very nice sounding cymbals featured a black logo and were made from the same alloy as the 2002s (CuSn8). They were later released with a green logo, discontinued in 1986, and this particular pair dates from 1983. An intermediate-level cymbal line that exceeded expectations in terms of performance.
A china cymbal with a brilliant tone, good volume, and short sustain. A truly well-made cymbal that, while not extremely rare, is still difficult to find, especially in this condition.
