MONZINO guitar mod. Classica II, 1965. Vintage.
Classical guitar in good condition, dated 1965.
Solid spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard, bone nut and bridge.
Made, as reported by the internal tag, by the Liuteria Artistica Antonio Monzino in Milan; the Monzino family has a very long history, which began in 1750 and is still active with the production of stringed instruments. The best Italian luthiers of the early twentieth century trained in this laboratory.
This guitar, as mentioned before, is well preserved but it needs some luthier job: some fret needs to be fixed because some are raised, and you can notice a bulge of the top near the bridge. The action is at the limits of playability.
. A fascinating classical guitar. The hard case you see pictured is included.
