The new Little Mark IV amplifiers add some fantastic features to our flagship Markbass Little Mark III amplifier, an industry standard for tone, portability, and value. The new dual-band limiter on this amplifier responds more quickly and dynamically to your playing. It's paired with a 500-watt power amplifier that delivers flawless reproduction of bass frequencies thanks to our proprietary MPT amplifier design specifically for bass. Additionally, the Little Mark IV features a mute switch and a 3-way switch that includes Flat, Scooped, or FSW (Footswitchable) EQ options.

Since our inception 20 years ago, Markbass has pioneered small amplifier design with its "Little Mark" series, setting an industry standard thanks to its compact size, lightweight design, and distinctive warm, natural sound. This tradition has been preserved with the Little Mark IV and has evolved to include new features requested by many of our artists and customers.

Updated 4-band EQ, Old School filter, 3-way switch

Our updated 4-band EQ section features powerful controls that make it easy to find the sound you want, boosting or decreasing up to 16 dB for each of the 4 bands to cover all the tonal nuances needed in any musical genre. Additionally, the Old School filter cuts your high frequencies and provides a rounded, smooth tone. The 3-way rotary switch lets you choose between a super-balanced flat tone, a scooped preset that lowers the mids while boosting the bass and highs, offering a superb slap sound, or finally the "FSW" option to control both mute and scooped EQ on demand by connecting an optional dual footswitch.

Dual-band limiter

Our new dual-band limiter responds faster and more dynamically to your playing than traditional limiters, letting your high frequencies breathe for a more natural sound. This makes our amp heads the best choice for anyone who appreciates a quick, punchy attack at high volumes.

MUTE LEVEL CONTROL / LINE OUT / PRE-POST EQ SWITCH

The Little Mark IV Series amplifiers feature a convenient mute switch on the front panel, along with a Line Out level control knob that allows for precise control of the signal sent to the mixer/PA. The rear panel features a Pre-Post EQ switch that allows you to route the XLR output before or after the EQ, depending on your needs.

MPT - MARK PROPRIETARY TECHNOLOGY

Many other bass amplifiers on the market use power amplifiers that aren't specifically designed for bass. At Markbass, Marco De Virgiliis has invested heavily in R&D to develop proprietary power amplifier technology in-house. Our MPT power amplifier was built from the ground up to respect and elevate your instrument's intrinsic tone.

The minimum ohm load for all Markbass heads is 4 ohms.

Markbass amplifiers/combos are designed for sale and use in the country of purchase and are factory-set to that country's voltage. Due to approval issues, the voltage may not be adjusted.

Rack ears are not included with this head.
