The Supraphonic is probably still the most famous snare drum in the world and one of the most present on recordings of various musical genres.

Launched in 1958 as Super Ludwig, it is still in the catalogue today. The LB400B model is the version with the chromed brass shell, ten Imperial lugs separated from the shell by rubber insulators, triple flanged hoops and the new P88 snare wire, smooth, precise and very sturdy.

The timbre, compared to the very famous chromed aluminum model, is more exuberant, with warm resonances.

Much has been written about this drum, and its sound is still relevant and versatile. An excellent instrument that every drummer should own.
