Wonderful drumset in like-new condition, meticulously preserved. 18”x14”, 12”x8”, 14”x14”, 14”x4” snare drum. Silver Glass covering.

This set was ordered by Roberto Gatto to Steve Maxwell with many custom options to reproduce a Jazzette from the 60s. Let's see them in detail.

Tone mufflers #5540 on all drums, two on toms and floor tom, Jimmy Pratt  #5430 on the bass drum. Rail consolette, “diamond plate” brackets #4820, #5454 bass drum tension screws, legs #4960.

The 14”x4” snare drum, reminiscent of the Max Roach model, was specifically requested since it is not available in the Gretsch catalog. Metal hoops are obviously die cast, and for the bass drum we have them in wood painted black with Silver Glass inlay. The inside of the shells is painted gray as usual, the internal paper tags show the drum model and serial number.

An excellent, exclusive drum kit. The Gretsch tone and sound has been a point of reference for every Jazz drummer for over seventy years.
