GRETSCH Jazzette made in USA, custom.

A beautiful Jazz set in fabulous, pristine condition. Blue Sparkle finish, 18"x14", 12"x8", 14"x14".

These three drums were custom assembled to create a Jazzette, using original American Gretsch shells, Delmar wraps, and Gretsch hardware (legs, bass drum brackets and screws, and diamond-plate floor tom lugs). The two die-cast Gibraltar hoops are the same ones used on current Gretsches. Three reproductions of the historic Stop Sign badge used during the 1970s were installed.

The floor tom shell is an American Gretsch from the 80s, as is the 12", while the body was made from a "drop G" floor tom from the 79/81, and the filled holes are in fact visible from the inside.

The customer chose to leave the toms and bass drum undrilled and not install internal dampers. A snare stand is included to suspend the toms.

The restoration and assembly work was carried out by a highly expert craftsman, Carlo Goberti, who specializes in Gretsch.
