Semih Şentürk is a Turkish football coach and former footballer, playing as a forward. Called up for the 2008 European Championship, in the quarter-finals against Croatia he scored the equalizer in the 122nd minute which would then lead to the semi-final after penalties. The goal is the latest in the history of the European Championships. In the semi-final against Germany, which the Germans won 3-2, he scored the second goal which brought the match to a temporary 2-2. Concludes the European Championship with three personal goals.

After 2011 he no longer played any matches for the national team.
