TAMA Techstar 12” snare pad, 1980s.

Tama Techstar 12” drum pad, in excellent and working condition. It has two triggers, one under the shead and one in the plastic part protruding from the pad.

Launched in the mid-80s, the Techstar line was inspired by Simmons, but unlike the English company, Tama pads had normal headss that could be stretched to simulate the response of a real drum.

This series was not very successful and was removed from the catalog after a few years.
